I recently watched The Avengers: Endgame, the final movie for the aptly called Infinity Saga from the Marvel cinematic universe (MCU). In the same weekend, I visited my family back home in Indiana to attend my youngest sister’s college graduation. TL;DR, I had quite the eventful weekend with a lot of things coming to a close. A weekend of closure, if you will.

dropping the ball.

Short post for continuity. Haven’t gotten much time to spend writing stuff, especially to the degree that I’ve told myself I would, but I’m holding off on being disappointed with my initial plans falling through. Still currently in the UK, but I’m now completely un-jetlagged with the feeling of “Oh, I really want to do this before I leave” setting in. I take this as a good sign though, since I wasn’t really expecting much or any attachment to occur–look forward to a full write up on the London experience! London is quite great; I think I could get used to this place, but as of right now… there are no plans to leave NYC.

english breakfast.

I managed to fall asleep around 9pm last night, mainly trying to convince myself that I didn’t need to gorge myself with the copious amount of chocolates the hotel left in my room. Woke up around 4am (BST), so jetlag is in full swing. I also forgot to buy water last night, so waking up before the crack of dawn was mostly just me memeing and contemplating whether or not London tap water is a wise choice. Spoilers: it wasn’t. The saving grace for my morning was an English breakfast, the most enjoyable part being the fact that it was down the street from work/hotel. Otherwise, it was pretty bland and quite tasteless. I later learned that one should only get an English breakfast if they make everything from scratch and freshly made just for you.
